The Atom Smashers DVD is now available for pre-sale! Packed with never-before-seen footage - including a conversation with Peter Higgs (the guy who named the particle) and an inside look at The Drug Sniffing Dogs (the Fermilab rock band), the film will ship this November.

On the heels of a scientist-studded premiere at Science Chicago and a sold-out showing at the Vancouver International Film Festival, The Atom Smashers will come back home for the Chicago Underground Film Festival on November 1st!

We have emerged from the Chicago summer with great progress on the film and exciting news about physics research!
In brief:
- On September 19th, The Atom Smashers will premiere at Science Chicago, a yearlong citywide effort to promote science!
- The Atom Smashers has been accepted to Vancouver International Film Festival, Pariscience, and Austin Film Festival!
- After fourteen years and $8 billion, CERN, the new European collider, has gone online. Beams are just being tested now, but collisions will start later this fall, hopefully yielding exciting new scientific discoveries!
